Job Description

  • Prepare PM Plan for uninterrupted power supply to ensure smooth functioning of plant operations by optimimum utilization of resources
  • Perform Daily Work Supervision of Customer complaint resolution to achieve timely closure of the same.
  • Prepare maintenance calendar for the year
  • Monitor plant level energy consumption
  • Ensure Preventive Maintenance of Industrial Power Distribution Equipments and Safe Working Procedures.
  • Hands on experience in handling Switch yards equipments, Relay and control panel, Battery and Battery chargers, EHV transformer , Oil cooled and Cast resin transformers, HT/ LT DG Sets, Power Control Centers, Motor control Centers, Power Factor control Panels & UPS.
  • Ensure that electrical machines/equipments should be utilised and to be running on optimum capacity.
  • Responsible for handling Waste Water management, compressed Air Management, Water Management & Material handling Equipment.
  • Compressed Air Management- Plan and monitor compressed air consumption for manufacturing and support services adhering to QMS & TPM processes.
  • Plan the Revenue & Capital budget for coming year with the team and controlling the consumption of the same throughout the year to adhere to the target set by plant.
  • Plan new projects related to natural resources conservation during Capex and revenue budgets & review during their implementation .
  • Prepare & review yearly comprehensive maintenance & JH schedule.
  • Water Management - Plan, monitor and handle Waste water treatment plant for adhering to legal requirement to achieve MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board) consent conditions & 100% equipment uptime. Also, identify ways to reduce water consumption by planning and scheduling for daily consumption of plant requirements and liasoning with MIDC.
  • Material Handling Equipment - Maintain existing material handling equipments & their periodic up gradation
  • Prepare daily report in the form of MIS to management regarding the status of the critical system
  • Ensure compliance to the requirements regarding SOH&E & QMS, by conducting regular reviews with team and referring Utility hygiene calendar.
  • Liase with external government bodies like MPCB , MIDC, contractors and consultants for collecting field reports and for other official communication.
