Sales Data Analyst

Job Description

Role Overview:As part of the team at MicroSourcing, you will be responsible for collecting and consolidating client forecasts, cleaning and transforming data, analyzing forecasts for thousands of products, and generating monthly forecasts using Forecast Pro software. You will also be involved in monitoring forecast accuracy, analyzing trends, producing sales and KPI reports, leading forecast review meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.Key Responsibilities:- Collect and consolidate client forecasts from various portals and formats.- Clean and transform data using Excel and Forecast Pro software.- Analyze forecasts for over 3,000 products across multiple warehouses.- Use Forecast Pro to generate monthly forecasts based on client data and mathematical models.- Push validated forecasts into Epicor ERP to support purchasing.- Flag and investigate major forecast variances with sales.- Monitor forecast accuracy and follow up on gaps.- Analyze trends to spot product declines, substitutions, or growth opportunities.- Align forecasts with real demand for better planning.- Produce sales and KPI reports for key products, logistics, and supply chain.- Lead monthly forecast review meetings with purchasing and marketing.- Conduct quarterly reviews of MIN/MAX parameters for inventory planning.- Contribute to continuous improvement of tools and processes.- Perform any other analysis requested by the supply chain department.Qualifications Required:Non-negotiables:- Knowledge of Power BI.- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in ERP data extraction and analysis.- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas.- Strong ERP proficiency.Preferred Skills/expertise:- Thoroughness.- Strong sense of analysis.- Ability to synthesize, interpret data, and communicate results clearly.- Good understanding of business processes (sales, inventory, logistics).- Organizational skills.- Ability to learn quickly.- Autonomy.- Flexible to support evolving business needs.About MicroSourcing:MicroSourcing is the pioneer and largest offshore provider of managed services in the Philippines, with over 9,000 professionals across 13 delivery centers.
