Manager - IT, TIC - Online DB & Cloud Services Location PUNE - CORPORATE OFFICEBusiness/Function Not SpecifiedBand E04BJob Reference * JR00031864Job Summary * Manager - IT, TIC - Online DB & Cloud ServicesJob Purpose In depth hands on experience of latest cloud technologies from Azure &AWS, infrastructure sizing & provisioning, DevOps, CI/CD with Dynatrace, docker, Kubernetes, HDInsight, CDN, Jenkins from R&D & adoption perspectiveGood understanding of latest technologies such as AI/ML/Deep Learning, blockchain, Conversational services for search, NLP/NLG services on cloudExperience in working on API/microservices or container technologies like Docker etc. to create robust horizontal capabilities & prototypesCreate & implement Azure Services like Azure Data Lake storage, Azure Stack with hybrid cloud applications, Service Bus, Event GridAbility to provide demo, explain, explore, read, research on new cloud services & online databases & socialize it with the business team/vendors/partners by conducting demos & workshops The role will involve automation, building, monitoring & maintaining database solutions that are used for daily reporting of massive scale of data available through our Data Marts as well as our software systems.Educate internal business & other teams on the value proposition of various cloud services by conducting sessions / workshops.Drive internal social collaboration on knowledge repository about services & offerings of cloud platform by creating content on services demonstration &usage walk throughs.Evangelize cloud platform & its services by researching on feasibility of business process & ways on improving the existing delivery pipeline. Determining priorities and designing features, re-architecture as necessary, making operational improvements, automated testing, and mentoring others. Participate in architectural discussions & design exercises to create large scale solutions on top of Azure primarily & be part of the product lifecycle.Ability to continuously create & curate content like Techreports &content/infographics/reports/case studies research for updatingthe Knowledge repository related to cloud platform offerings.Job Duties & Key Responsibilities * Duties and Responsibilities - Cloud deployments Depth and Understanding Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell, Perl) Configuration management using CloudFormation and/or Chef/Puppet. Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment. Internal business and vendor communication skills to represent Azure services and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management and risk mitigation. Driving software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies. Integration of Azure cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, Oracle, SFDC, SAP etc. Project Management & Operations Tracking and monitoring of daily tasks for projects with internal teams as well as vendors Coordination with vendors for delivering tasks on time and with desired quality Create and setup processes both internally and with partners for ensuring deliveries on time and with required quality Co-ordination with internal partner to identify and streamline deliveries for project specific tasks Continuously enhancing the perpetual state of beta for deliveries. Broad understanding of development and managed/sustenance services projects lifecycles and processes Partner and stakeholder management Research and identification of services and delivery partners/vendors to achieve project objectives Create, manage and roll-out RFP/I/Q to identified set of vendors for evaluations Create, enhance and update the project delivery plans in accordance with the internal and vendor teams accountabilities Monitoring and reporting of project status, dependencies and risk for partners to all stakeholders on a continuous basis Manage internal and external escalations and mitigation plans for all deliveries Excellent communication skills and ability to quickly grasp concepts and drive with agility as independent designer. Self-start for initiatives is key.Required Qualifications and Experience * Graduate/Post graduate in design from a leading institute with around 5-8 years of experience having managed and implemented cloud platform services. Azure Cloud Certification will be an added advantage. Must have experience in designing and implementing large scale cloud migration projects. Hands on experience in creation, curation and management of knowledge portal, technology trends, communication and writing. Hands-on experience in designing and developing Platform as a Service (PaaS) Solutions using Azure Services. Hands on experience in designing and developing Azure App Services, API Apps, Web Jobs, Azure functions, Web Apps, Serverless Functions, Containers, Microservices with Kubernetes, Microservices with Service Fabric. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to influence without authority. Must be a vendor / partner person to drive the implementation discussion. Ability to manage delivery workload by setting priorities, planning, and monitoring progress, ensuring meeting deadlines and budgets set by sponsors. Ability to take end to end ownership of the product development and maintenance lifecycle. Ability to do market analysis and opportunity identification, have strategic insight with customer-focused innovation Excellent communication and collaboration skills with ability to influence without authority Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with drive for excellence Out-of-the box thinking and encouragement of driving for new and innovative marketable solutions is highly appreciated. Mandatory Skills: Must have: Microsoft Azure cloud platform. Hands-on experience with latest Azure Service (Cognitive Services (language, search, vision, speech APIs), Azure Bot Service, API Management, Azure Active Directory, Azure IOT Hub) Experience with Azure database services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Datalake, EDW, Big Data, HDInsight, Blobs & PAAS services) Python frameworks (Django, Web2Py, etc.) Java frameworks (Spring / Hibernate, Reactive programming) C# (ASP.Net MVC) No-SQL Databases (MongoDB 4.0 and higher, Cassandra) Vendor Management / People Engagement skills Content creation, curation & Tagging abilities Strong communication skills Additional: AWS cloud platform, Google Cloud Platform (AI & Machine learning, IOT, Storage, Data Analytics), Apache Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Corporate training experience in Microsoft Azure services and AWS, Azure Integration services like Service Bus and Event Hubs.
