Summary / Role PurposeJoin the Ansys Customer Excellence team to partner with Ansys Application Engineering Team, Sales, Product Marketing, and R&D Teams to capture know-how in Industry Best Practices that enable customers to solve their real-world engineering problems, deploy solutions in their design workflows, and grow Ansys business.The Senior Project Manager leads the scoping and planning of key content projects and successfully executes against the established commitments. Serves as the central focal point of contact, and coordinates and manages all communication of cross-functional teams across all levels of ANSYS. Provides the central collaboration point between Ansys Customer Excellence, Sales, Marketing, and Product Development Teams.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesGuide complex development engagements to successful outcomes using Project Management experience, planning and negotiation skills, subject matter expertise and industry knowledgeFacilitate the definition of project scope, goal, requirements, and deliverablesDefine project tasks and resource requirementsDevelop and manage Project and Program level initiatives and coordinate project plansEstablish self as a trusted advisor to the ACE Team members; understand their key business initiatives, customer engagement processes, and engineering design workflowsManage and track project resource allocations, timelines, and deliverables across multiple interconnected workstreamsPartner with Sales, Product Marketing, and R&D Teams to participate in projects as reviewersWork independently within multi-disciplinary teams across geographiesDevelop new and streamline existing process & tools with the goal to improve the user experience and operational efficiencyDevelop templates and guidelines to streamline project executionMinimum Education/Certification Requirements and ExperienceRequired education and degree type: BS, MS or PhD in EngineeringRequired minimum years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS 8, MS 6, or PhD 3Experience working in engineering / product development environmentProven experience in project management or complex project management with multiple workstreamsProven stakeholder management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead status presentations, fluent in writing and speaking EnglishStrong organizational and time management skills, possesses a sense of urgencyProjects a professional image and demonstrates business acumen, driven to succeedStrong leadership and mentoring skillsCompetency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and OutlookDemonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages for the solution of real-world customer problemsPreferred Qualifications and SkillsPreferred education and years of professional experience in an engineering software environment: BS 12, MS 10, or PhD 76 years of experience in technology and digital content development projectsExperience with both Waterfall and Agile Project Management methodologiesAbility to interact effectively with senior business managersEducation: ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)rrr r r r rAny GraduateIndustry: Software Services, IT-Software
