Bachelors degree from accredited institution, must have Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject 7-10 years of overall software development experience in a technology oriented organization. Solid knowledge of OOP software concepts, design patterns, and best practices. Strong programming experience in Perl Development experience on Linux (Understanding of Web Server like Apache or Nginx a plus) Strong background in Object Oriented Perl (Moose and Class::Accessor experience a plus) Familiar with CPAN and comfortable with installing and working with CPAN modules Experienced in Catalyst web framework Database management with Perl (Mostly Postgres, knowledge of DBI/DBIx a plus) Develop and reinforce best practices to ensure coding efficiency and quality. Test Driven Development in Perl Agile development experience Docker and Kubernetes knowledge is a plus Experience working with eCommerce/B2C, B2B and enterprise software environment(B2C experience would be highly desirable) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
