Job Description

    As a QA Engineer - Manual at our company in Mohali, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products. With 3 to 5 years of experience in manual testing, you will work closely with the software development team to create comprehensive test cases based on project requirements. Your strong foundation in manual testing processes, logical and aptitude skills, and proficiency in SQL queries will be key to your success in this role. An ISTQB certification would be an added advantage.Your responsibilities will include actively participating in Agile-Scrum development processes, staying updated on the latest technologies and best practices in software testing, and maintaining documentation for work completed or new feature developments. You should also have experience working with bug-tracking tools and large clients, with a solid understanding of SQL Server or other database systems.To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks. Additionally, you should possess proficiency in manual testing for functional, integration, and regression tests, along with skills in performance and security testing. Knowledge of testing frameworks like TDD and BDD, as well as experience with test management tools, will be beneficial.Candidates from specific institutes such as Chitkara University, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, IITs, NITs, and others will be preferred.
