Job Description

    As a Senior Civil Engineer / Site Engineer at our company located in Bestech Business Towers, Mohali, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing on-site construction activities. With a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction projects and a qualification of B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering, your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.Key Responsibilities:- Interpret and review structural and architectural drawings accurately.- Plan, coordinate, and monitor all site construction activities.- Supervise civil work execution including foundation, RCC, masonry, finishing, and other related works.- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, architects, and consultants.- Maintain daily site reports, material records, and progress updates.- Conduct quality checks and ensure materials meet required standards.- Resolve technical issues on-site and provide practical solutions.- Manage workforce allocation and ensure project deadlines are met.- Oversee compliance with safety and environmental regulations.Required Skills & Competencies:- Excellent knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and techniques.- Ability to read and interpret structural and layout drawings.- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other construction-related software.- Good communication and documentation skills.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.Preferred Background:- Prior experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.- Hands-on experience managing multiple contractors and vendors.- Knowledge of estimation, billing, and quantity surveying is an added advantage.In this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and techniques to excel. Your experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects will be highly valued. Fluency in English is preferred, and the work location will be in Mohali, Punjab.
