Equity Research Lead

Job Description

As a Senior Equity Research Analyst at Client First Wealth Management, you will play a crucial role in leading research strategy, sector coverage, and contributing to portfolio performance for high-net-worth and institutional clients. Your responsibilities will include:- Conducting in-depth equity research across sectors with expertise in capital markets, macroeconomics, and industry cycles.- Developing comprehensive financial models, valuation frameworks, and long-term forecasts.- Driving sector coverage strategy and identifying high-conviction investment opportunities.- Analyzing financial statements, earnings calls, management commentary, and regulatory filings to assess risk-return dynamics.- Tracking and evaluating various investment products such as Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, equities, derivatives, bonds, etc.- Providing research-driven inputs for portfolio construction, asset allocation, and rebalancing decisions.- Publishing detailed research reports, thematic notes, sector outlooks, and market strategy updates.- Presenting investment recommendations to leadership, sales teams, and relationship managers.- Mentoring junior analysts and ensuring research quality standards.- Monitoring macro indicators, policy developments, RBI updates, and global market trends.- Maintaining structured research databases, valuation trackers, and MIS dashboards.- Ensuring compliance with internal governance standards and regulatory frameworks.- Collaborating with product, sales, and relationship teams to design client-focused investment solutions.Skills Required:- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.- Strong command over valuation techniques and capital market instruments.- Deep understanding of accounting standards and financial statement interpretation.- Ability to generate independent investment ideas with conviction.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and financial databases.- Strategic thinking and leadership capability.Qualifications:- 5 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Advisory, Portfolio Management, or Financial Analysis.- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, or related fields.- CFA (completed or Level II/III candidate) preferred.- NISM Research Analyst Certification (XV) mandatory or preferred.- Proven track record of generating investment ideas and contributing to portfolio performance.Join Client First Wealth Management to leverage your expertise and contribute to the success of our clients financial goals.
