As a highly seasoned and strategic General Manager (GM) - Fund Raising, you will be responsible for heading the corporate finance and capital sourcing initiatives of the company. Being a core member of the finance leadership team, your primary focus will be driving both domestic and international fund-raising strategies to support the companys aggressive growth plans.Key Responsibilities:- Fund Raising (Domestic & International): You will lead the strategy and execution for securing long-term and short-term funding through various instruments, including External Commercial Borrowings (ECBs), trade credits, project financing, and domestic debt.- PSU Banking & Relationship Management: It is crucial to leverage and maintain strong, working relationships with public sector banks (PSUs), private banks, and financial institutions to ensure seamless credit syndication and competitive pricing.- Working Capital Optimization: You will expertly manage working capital facilities, specifically focusing on TReDS platforms, purchase bill discounting, invoice discounting, and non-fund-based limits (LCs/BG).- Financial Modeling & Due Diligence: Your role involves overseeing the preparation of detailed financial models, project reports, information memorandums, and presentations for lenders and rating agencies.- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring absolute compliance with RBI regulations, FEMA guidelines for international funding, and documentation requirements is a critical aspect of this position.Candidate Profile (Must-Haves):- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) is Mandatory.- Experience: 12-18 years of post-qualification experience, with a proven track record in core fund-raising roles.- Industry Background: Preferred from the Steel, Metals, Power, or Heavy Infrastructure sector.Core Competencies:- Deep understanding of PSU banking credit approval processes.- Practical experience setting up and operating TReDS limits and trade finance tools.- Strong negotiation skills with international and domestic lenders.In this role, your extensive network within PSU banking, expertise in managing TReDS limits and structured working capital, and deep exposure to the Steel or heavy manufacturing industry will be invaluable assets to achieve the companys financial objectives.
