Job Description

    As an Insurance Surveyor, your role involves inspecting, evaluating, and reporting on insurance claims within the motor, property, fire, and health insurance sectors. Your responsibilities will include:- Conducting physical inspections of insured properties, vehicles, or relevant items.- Assessing and evaluating the extent of loss or damage in accordance with policy coverage.- Collecting evidence, photographs, and documentation to substantiate the claim.- Preparing detailed and unbiased survey reports within the specified Turnaround Time (TAT).- Collaborating with policyholders, garages, workshops, hospitals, and other stakeholders.- Coordinating with the claims department to ensure fair and prompt settlement of claims.- Adhering to IRDA and company guidelines during surveys and reporting.- Ensuring accurate documentation and maintaining the confidentiality of claim information.- Providing expert opinions in instances of dispute or fraud.Your qualifications for this role should include:- Strong analytical and observational skills.- Technical knowledge of motor, property, or health insurance sectors, depending on your specialization.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to manage fieldwork and travel for on-site inspections.- Proficiency in survey/report writing tools and MS Office.- Good time management and the capability to handle multiple cases concurrently.Please note that this is a full-time position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, yearly bonus, and a day shift schedule. You are required to have at least 3 years of experience as an insurance surveyor, specifically in automobile and health insurance sectors. The work location is in person.
