Job Description

    As a Microbiologist in Raipur, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:- Prepare and sterilize microbiological media, reagents, and buffers following standard protocols.- Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and environmental samples.- Conduct microbial limit tests, pathogen detection, and preservative efficacy tests (PET).- Ensure compliance with applicable standards such as BIS, ISO, IS, USP, IP.- Maintain accurate records of experiments, observations, and results in lab documentation.- Operate and maintain lab instruments like autoclaves, incubators, laminar airflow cabinets, and microscopes.- Support method development and validation for new products or formulations.- Ensure good laboratory practices (GLP), hygiene, and biosafety procedures are adhered to at all times.Qualifications Required:- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Microbiology or related field.- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in microbiological testing and media preparation.- Practical knowledge of microbial culture techniques and aseptic handling.- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards.- Strong observation, documentation, and reporting skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.Additionally, the preferred industry background for this role includes experience in Cosmetics, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, or Biotechnology sectors.Please note that the job type is Full-time with the work schedule being in the morning shift and the work location requiring in-person presence.
