Job Description

Role Overview:You will be the SAP Functional Consultant serving as the crucial interface between IT and the Business functions. Your main responsibility will be to comprehend the key business drivers and needs, offer proactive support, and enhance IT value in aligning and delivering the business strategy and objectives through integrated SAP solutions and features.Key Responsibilities:- Own the SAP Module PP and ensure governance for the functions.- Deliver integrated SAP solutions to function head and senior management team.- Translate business plans into specific IT requirements and programmes/projects.- Initiate programmes for Digital projects.- Monitor projects to ensure business improvement and alignment with organizational objectives.- Drive implementation and increased usage of SAP for various business activities for better efficiency and decision-making.- Work with Abap resources for deliveries, guide them, and ensure changes are tested along with business users before moving to production.- Interact with Business heads and IT team for strategizing SAP implementation roadmap.- Collaborate with key project stakeholders for decisions/issues and SAP implementation partner for successful implementation.- Monitor system performance and conduct periodic SAP usage surveys for identifying improvement areas.- Take responsibility for implementation programmes or system upgrade initiatives within schedule, cost, and quality.- Collaborate with IT and business to drive key change programmes and improve system processes.- Provide IT contribution to projects, identify interdependencies, and synergies with technology impact.- Bring business understanding to IT policy development and contribute to organizational success.- Act as a change agent and work proactively to make organizational change happen.- Utilize project/programme management skills and governance experience for delivering improved business results.- Understand the business areas being supported by IT and participate in wider business projects with a Digital focus.Qualification Required:- SAP certification in PP preferred, with experience in PM or WMS considered an advantage.- Minimum 3 years of SAP Implementation experience and 2-4 years of experience in SAP systems.- Total experience of above 5 years in SAP projects.- Domain experience in Finance, Commercial & taxation preferred.- Good communication skills, business knowledge, and monitoring application utilization.- Ability to build personal credibility, demonstrate organizational values, and contribute to organizational success.- Strong customer focus, relationship-building skills, and awareness of industry relevant topics.- Exposure to Digital systems, integration, and MDM considered advantageous.(ref:hirist.tech) Role Overview:You will be the SAP Functional Consultant serving as the crucial interface between IT and the Business functions.
