Job Description

Job for Sports Teacher in RajkotA Reputed Education Sector for Sports TeacherResponsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and deliver structured PE lessons aligned with the schools curriculum.
  • Teach a variety of physical activities including team sports, individual fitness, and health education.
  • Promote sportsmanship, cooperation, and fair play among students.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize school sports events, inter-school competitions, and extracurricular sports clubs.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of sports equipment and facilities.
  • Enforce safety rules and respond appropriately to injuries or emergencies.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student well-being and school events.
  • Stay current on health and physical education trends, techniques, and certifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • Valid teaching certification/license (if required by region).
  • Proven experience teaching sports or physical education to school-age students.
  • Strong knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and injury prevention.
  • Excellent communication and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work with students of all ages and skill levels.
  • First aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Coaching certifications in specific sports (e.g., soccer, basketball, athletics).
  • Experience organizing large-scale sports events or tournaments.
  • Ability to teach health education or theory-based PE subjects.
  • Familiarity with adapted physical education for students with special needs.
