Job Description ERP Implementation LeadWe are seeking an experienced ERPImplementation Lead to support a large-scale enterprise transformationinitiative involving the migration of custom-built and legacy businessapplications to a modern ERP platform such as SAP or Oracle.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience participating in complex ERP transformation programs and a strong understanding of how enterprise business processes, custom applications, integrations, data, and reporting capabilities transition into an ERPecosystem. This individual will serve as a key subject matter expert and trusted advisor, working closely with business process owners, internal technology teams, ERP vendors, and System Integrators (SIs) to evaluaterequirements, validate solutions, identify gaps, and ensure the ERP implementation aligns with business objectives.Candidate will be expected toleverage prior ERP transformation experience to challenge assumptions, validateimplementation approaches, assess the impact on existing applications andprocesses, and help drive practical decisions throughout the implementationlifecycle.Theideal candidate has successfully worked on one or more large-scale ERPimplementations where custom-developed business applications were consolidated,modernized, or replaced by SAP or Oracle ERP solutions and understands thecomplexities associated with process transformation, applicationrationalization, integrations, data migration, testing, and business adoption.Key ResponsibilitiesERP Transformation &Solution LeadershipAct as a key transformation lead throughout the ERP implementation lifecycle.Provide hands-on guidance and expertise during the migration from custom-built applications to SAP or Oracle ERP.Participate in ERP strategy, solution discussions, design workshops, and implementation planning activities.Help define the future-state application landscape and identify opportunities to leverage standard ERP functionality.Challenge existing customs processes and advocate for industry best practices where appropriate.Business Process & Fit-GapAnalysisWork closely with business process owners to understand current-state processes and systems.Participate in process discovery, requirements gathering, and fit-gap assessment activities.Evaluate how existing customs applications and functionality can be replaced, consolidated, or integrated with ERP solutions.Assist in defining future-state business processes aligned with ERP capabilities.Collaboration with ERP Vendorsand System IntegratorsServe as a primary point of collaboration between internal teams and external implementation partners.Review and validate solution recommendations provided by SAP, Oracle, and System Integrator teams.Ensure implementation decisions align with business objectives and long-term architecture goals.Participate in solution reviews, design discussions, and architecture governance activities.Integration & Data MigrationSupportWork with integration teams to define ERP integration requirements and approaches.Review integration designs and ensure business requirements are adequately addressed.Support data migration planning, data mapping, validation, and reconciliation activities.Help identify data quality issues and remediation strategies.Legacy ApplicationRationalizationAnalyze existing custom-built applications and assess their business value and ERP replacement strategy.Identify business processes, integrations, reports, and functionality impacted by the ERP transformation.Support application retirement, consolidation, and transition planning activities.Assist in defining coexistence strategies during phased migration approaches.Post-Go-Live Support &Continuous ImprovementSupport business users during stabilization and hyper care periods.Assist in issue resolution and optimization initiatives.Identify opportunities for process improvement and ERP adoption enhancement.Promote ERP best practices and continuous improvement across business functions.RequirementsRequired QualificationsExperience10 years of experience in enterprise applications, ERP implementations, or business systems transformation.Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience working on large-scale SAP or Oracle ERP implementation programs.Proven experience in ERP transformation projects involving migration from custom-built or legacy applications.Experience working directly with ERP vendors, implementation partners, and System Integrators.Strong involvement in multiple phases of ERP implementations including design, fit-gap analysis, integration, data migration, testing, and deployment.Experience supporting enterprise-wide business process transformation initiatives.Technical UnderstandingERP architecture and implementation methodologies.Application integration concepts and middleware platforms.Data migration and .
