Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Technician to oversee production processes, setup, and troubleshooting of moulding machines. The role involves understanding production planning and BOMs, setting up and maintaining moulds, performing machine start-up and shut-down, and ensuring machines run efficiently to meet quality standards. You will also conduct first inspections, monitor raw material temperatures, and support cooling when needed to meet quality requirements.Key responsibilities include documenting daily production reports, creating moulding BOMs, troubleshooting production issues, and communicating with the Quality department to maintain product standards. Additionally, you will manage auxiliary equipment, perform minor repairs, and provide training to operators on machine operations, defect observation, and company policies.Candidates should have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding, proficiency with materials such as ABS, PP, Nylon, TPU, and a solid understanding of mould setup, machine processes, and troubleshooting. A background in Plastic Processing & Testing or a related Diploma/ITI is required. Experience with robotic controls, conveyors, and grinders is preferred, along with the ability to improve machine efficiency and reduce cycle times and waste.
