Job Description

    Check Product Quality, Dimensions, Maintenance, Make Reports, Interact with Vendors, Product DesigningKey Responsibilities:- Maintenance & Repair : Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, batteries, and wiring.- System Monitoring : Monitor performance data of solar systems using various tools and software to ensure systems are running at optimal efficiency.- Inspections & Testing : Conduct inspections of solar installations to assess system performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards and local regulations.- Troubleshooting : Diagnose system issues, such as electrical faults or component failures, and provide corrective actions to resolve problems.- Documentation : Prepare and maintain detailed service reports, documenting all maintenance and repairs performed on solar installations.- Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and educating clients on system functionality and performance.- Safety Compliance : Ensure all work complies with safety standards and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to electrical safety practices.- Upgrades & Improvements : Recommend and implement upgrades or improvements to enhance the performance and longevity of solar systems.- Collaboration : Work closely with project managers, installers, and technical teams to resolve issues and coordinate services.- Emergency Support : Provide on-call emergency repair services as needed. Qualifications & Skills:- Education : Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.- Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in solar system maintenance or a similar role in the renewable energy sector.- Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, including inverters, panels, batteries, and electrical wiring.- Problem-Solving : Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in solar systems and develop effective solutions.- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with customers and preparing reports.- Certifications : Relevant certifications in solar installation, maintenance, or electrical work (e.g., NABCEP certification) are a plus.- Computer Skills : Proficient in using solar monitoring software and tools for system diagnostics.- Physical Stamina : Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and at heights, including on rooftops.- Drivers License : Valid drivers license and ability to travel to various job sites.Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with energy storage systems and hybrid solar setups.- Experience in both residential and commercial solar installations.- Knowledge of local and international electrical codes and standards related to solar installations.Work Environment:- Work involves traveling to different customer locations for maintenance and repairs.- Some tasks may require working at heights or outdoors in challenging weather conditions.- The position may require occasional evening or weekend work to handle emergency services.This description outlines the role, skills, and qualifications needed for a Solar Service Engineer.
