Job Description

    Job Opportunity in MNC Company with third party contract.Job Role:Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, usingindependent judgment in making adaptations and modifications. Requires a basic knowledge of design anddrafting techniques, engineering drawings, graphic arts, 2-D and 3-D CAD, reading of drawings and reproductionmethods used by the discipline.Directly performs the work of designers and drafters of a design group for a business line technology.This workincludes the preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models and construction drawings.Reviews or defines engineering scope changes, as required, for project management. Endorses or prepares reports of work progress, as required, for project and discipline use.Participates in one or more of the following:a) Equipment design and developmentb) System design, including concept sketches and layoutsc) Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers or by suppliersd) Preparation or review of engineering studies and reportse) Preparation or review of material quantity estimatesReviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors of a moderate degree of complexityand prepares comments and recommendations. Assists in preparation of forecasts, quantity take-offs and changeorders. Understands roles played by other disciplines on the project. Contacts counterpart in other disciplines,supplier/client representatives and project field personnel when directed, to either gather or give information.Education Qualification: Diploma,B.E
