Job Description

    Job Title: Front Line Area Head (Sales)Department: Consumer Durables - Electronics (Fans, Lights, Wire) Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Head Location:Vishakhapatnam Job Type: Full-timeJob Overview:The Front-Line Area Head (Sales) will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the distribution network for Consumer Durables (Fans, Lights, Wire) in the assigned area. This position requires leadership, strategic thinking, and execution capabilities to ensure targets are achieved while maintaining strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and end customers.Key Responsibilities:
    • Sales Target Achievement: Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area in the product categories of Fans, Lights, and Wires.
    • Sales Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement area-specific sales strategies aligned with company goals to increase market share and revenue.
    • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of Sales Executives and Field Sales Representatives to ensure effective sales execution and performance.
    • Market Expansion: Identify new sales opportunities, market trends, and potential customers to expand market reach within the territory.
    • Distributor & Retailer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to ensure product availability and visibility in the market. Ensure they adhere to company policies and meet sales targets.
    • Product Training and Support: Provide regular product training to sales teams, retailers, and distributors to enhance product knowledge and selling capabilities.
    • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Monitor and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and competitor activities to prepare accurate sales forecasts and generate regular reports for management.
    • Market Intelligence: Gather insights on competitor products, pricing strategies, and customer preferences. Use this information to adjust sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
    • Stock Management & Distribution: Ensure optimal stock levels and inventory management with distributors and retailers to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
    • Customer Service Excellence: Resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Promotional Activities: Plan and execute local promotions, advertising campaigns, and trade events to boost product sales and brand visibility.
    Qualifications & Skills:
    • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
    • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the Consumer Durables or Electronics industry (Fans, Lights, Wires).
    • Key Skills:
      • Strong sales leadership and team management abilities.
      • In-depth knowledge of the consumer durables market (especially in the Fans, Lights, and Wire categories).
      • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to analyze market trends, data, and competitor activities.
      • Proficient in sales forecasting, reporting, and CRM tools.
      • Result-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
      • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Other Requirements:
      • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned area.
      • Strong knowledge of local market dynamics and customer behavior.
      • Leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing sales teams.
    Working Conditions:
    • Full-time position based inVishakhapatnam.
    • Regular travel within the assigned sales area is required.
    • Occasional weekend or evening work may be required depending on business needs.
