Job Description

    Role Overview:You are a proactive, detail-oriented Construction Administrator / Operation Coordinator joining a fast-paced and dynamic construction team. Your role involves site coordination and estimation, focusing on accuracy and feasibility in floor plan estimation, client and architect coordination, documentation management, permit processes, stakeholder liaison, subcontractor/supplier management, purchase order preparation, and project progress reporting.Key Responsibilities:- Estimate and review floor plans for accuracy and feasibility.- Coordinate with clients and architects to finalize architectural drawings.- Oversee accurate processing of client-related documentation including contract preparation, material selection, post-contract variations, handover documentation, and shop drawings.- Manage end-to-end building and occupancy permit processes.- Liaise with key stakeholders such as developers, councils, building surveyors, engineers, and energy assessors.- Handle all documentation from suppliers, contractors, lenders, and brokers.- Manage and negotiate subcontractor/supplier quotes and tenders.- Prepare and issue purchase orders.- Maintain efficient workflow tracking and project progress reporting.Qualification Required:- Minimum 2 years of experience in the Australian construction industry.- Strong understanding of the Australian Building Code, compliance, and planning permit processes (preferred).- Background in Architecture, Drafting, or Civil Engineering.- Excellent spoken and written English with outstanding communication skills.- High attention to detail with strong task and time management.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.- Fast learner and tech-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office.- Reliable, ethical, and committed to high-quality work.- Comfortable working from a co-working space.
