Digital Software Engineering Senior Group Manager - Head of Quality & Performance Engineering

As a visionary and experienced Digital Software Engineering Senior Group Manager at our organization, you will lead the strategy and execution of our software development lifecycle. Your role will focus on creating a world-class testing and deployment pipeline to deliver high-quality software at an accelerated pace. You will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize processes and build intelligent solutions.**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead an AI-first testing strategy to transform quality engineering across applications and platforms.- Implement AI-powered solutions & automation for testing, including functional, integration, smoke, and performance testing.- Drive the adoption of autonomous, self-healing testing in the code and deployment pipeline.- Oversee the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and implement best practices for agile development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery (CI/CD).- Champion a shift-left approach to quality by embedding testing throughout the development lifecycle.- Establish and govern a comprehensive test management strategy that includes functional, non-functional, and performance testing.- Lead a team of Quality engineers to enable agile squads to independently drive product build and quality assurance.- Act as a pragmatic problem solver, balancing trade-offs between competing interests and driving technical excellence.- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the teams you manage.**Qualifications:**- 15 years of relevant experience, with a track record of managing the full SDLC for large-scale software projects.- Extensive experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.- First-class leadership, influencing, and talent management skills.- Deep understanding of testing methodologies, agile development, and modern software architecture patterns.- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in software development.- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience negotiating internally at a senior level.- Bachelors/University degree required; Masters degree preferred.Citi is an equal opportunity employer, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
