Job Description

As the Technical Lead, Software Engineering, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features while improving existing functionality. You will be responsible for fixing reported bugs, enhancing application performance, and exploring and implementing new technologies to boost development efficiency.Your duties and responsibilities will include:- Implementing all aspects of an application design including high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing.- Designing and implementing REST API web services and scalable APIs.- Programming for Serverless framework.- Demonstrating robust experience with Typescript (Angular 13, NodeJs), .net Core, language SQL and NoSQL, APIs, and Service Oriented Architecture.- Guiding architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with long-term product and infrastructure goals.- Evaluating and integrating tools and technologies to enhance software delivery and team productivity.- Reviewing, refactoring, and contributing to complex codebases while enforcing high standards for code quality, maintainability, and performance.- Owning and managing CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and infrastructure-as-code strategies in collaboration with DevOps.- Conducting thorough and constructive code reviews for all developers.- Utilizing your expertise in relational databases (SQL Server or MySQL) and continuous delivery and deployment pipelines.- Applying your knowledge of computer science fundamentals to create an exceptional user experience.- Developing frameworks and processes for application projects in a structured, maintainable fashion.- Evaluating and improving application performance.- Performing unit and system level testing on applications.- Collaborating closely with product development teams, product management, design office, and services for upgrade testing, analysis, and issue resolution.- Developing automated unit test cases tied to each User Story and Bug.- Ensuring the use, protection, and disclosure of patients protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA standards.Qualifications required for this role:- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.- 5 years of significant experience in full Stack application development using Angular, C#, .NET Core, JavaScript, TypeScript & SQL Server Technologies.- Proven success in leading code reviews and implementing performance optimization strategies.- Strong Object-oriented programming skills.- Proficiency in SDLC methodologies like SAFe, Agile, Test-driven development.- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills.- Expertise in LINQ, Functional Programming, and multithreading.- Experience in Restful API/GraphQL development in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, .Net window services, and SQL Server.- Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries.- Strong foundation in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.- Ability to work well individually and with a team, with a good work ethic, self-starter mentality, and results-oriented approach.- Capability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and execute them effectively.- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with attention to detail.Please note that Med-Metrix is committed to a non-discriminatory employment environment, ensuring equal opportunities for all employees or applicants based on federal, state, or local law.
