As a Manager, Data Analysis at Capital One, you will play a crucial role in modernizing compliance testing script management. You will set the script intent for the new automated process, develop change management processes, and drive governance to ensure accurate and up-to-date data for the testing community. Collaboration with various teams such as data analysts, second line testing team, product management, and tech team will be essential in developing and implementing solutions.**Key Responsibilities:**- Drive current and future strategy using analytical skills- Assist in building and developing tools and processes to strengthen compliance testing- Handle vast amounts of data in new environments- Contribute to growing and developing the brand in testing products- Utilize analytics for superior customer experience- Lead and mentor junior analysts, elevating their careers- Be involved in the full project life cycle and witness end results- Collaborate across business units- Work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a focus on analytics and data- Enjoy a good work-life balance with minimal travel involved**On Any Given Day You Will Be:**- Identifying, developing, improving, and implementing processes, data, and reporting enhancements- Working with large and complex databases- Improving operational efficiencies- Conducting analysis to evaluate processes and tests- Extracting and analyzing data to enhance testing products**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors Degree in a quantitative field with at least 6 years of data analytics experience, or a Masters Degree with at least 4 years of data analytics experience- Minimum 4 years of professional data analysis work experience- Minimum 4 years of programming experience**Preferred Qualifications:**- Masters Degree in a STEM discipline- Minimum 7 years of professional data analysis work experience- Minimum 4 years of experience with Python, R, Spark, or SQL- Minimum 1 year of people management and project management experience- Minimum 1 year of Tableau experience- Proficiency in utilizing and developing within AWS servicesThis role offers a competitive salary range based on the location. For Data Analysis Managers:- McLean, VA: $164,800 - $188,100- Richmond, VA: $149,800 - $171,000Performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives, is also part of the package.
