Job Description

As a Senior User Experience (UX) Designer at Gallagher, you will play a crucial role in leading the end-to-end user experience design process. Your responsibilities will include:- Leading the entire user experience design process, starting from user research and concept development to prototyping and final delivery.- Collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project goals and user requirements.- Conducting user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to gain insights into user behavior.- Creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes to visually communicate design ideas.- Ensuring design consistency and quality across the product by maintaining design systems and guidelines.- Mentoring junior UX designers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance their skills and performance.- Advocating for user-centric design practices throughout the product development lifecycle.- Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovative design solutions.Qualifications required for this role:- 5 years of experience in UX design with a recommended educational background in Bachelors in Engineering/Master of Computer Applications/Master of Computer Science/ BCA / BSC or related certifications.- Proficiency in user experience design principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies.- Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent.- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for effective collaboration with developers.- Ability to lead and mentor junior designers.- Strong aptitude in critical thinking, problem-solving, and design strategy.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.- Experience working in agile teams and cross-functional environments.- Strong listening and collaboration skills to work seamlessly in teams.- Deep understanding of current design trends and emerging technologies.In addition to the attractive salary, Gallagher offers a wide range of benefits including Medical Insurance, Parental Medical Insurance, Accidental Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirals, Flexi Benefits Plan, Annual Leave, Maternity & Paternity Leave, Employee Wellness Programs, Training programs, and more.
