Alternative Ops Fund Accounting - Associate 2

Job Description

Role Overview:As an Associate 2 in the Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services business unit of State Street Alternative Investment Services Group, you will play a vital role in delivering financial reporting and accounting support to real estate fund clients. Your responsibilities will include preparing, analyzing, and reporting investment and fund performance data for global real estate funds and affiliated entities.Key Responsibilities:- Process data from General Partners Financial Reports, including Statement of Assets and Liabilities, Statement of Operations, Statement of Changes in Equity, Statement of Cash Flows, and Schedule of Investments for Private Equity and Hedge Funds.- Review and/or prepare various reconciliations as necessary.- Prepare client correspondences and actively engage with onshore centres to address queries promptly.- Calculate waterfalls and capital account allocations.- Undertake special projects as assigned.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.- 1 to 3 years of experience in Private Equity or Hedge Fund accounting or Public Accounting.- Proficiency in verbal and written communication with internal and external clients at senior levels.- Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet client deliverables efficiently.About the Company:State Street is a leading custodian bank, asset manager, and asset intelligence company globally.
