Software Engineer - Identity and Access Management

Job Description

As a Software Engineer I at Bank of America, you will be part of the Global Business Services team, specifically in the Global Information Security - IAAT - Authentication team. Your role will involve consultation, integration, and troubleshooting support for enterprise and third-party applications onboarding to strategic enterprise SSO, API security, and Multifactor Authentication platforms. You will collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure the adoption of strategic IAM solutions within the enterprise.**Key Responsibilities:**- Create SSO policies based on business requirements- Troubleshoot PingAccess and related issues- Conduct in-depth research, analysis, and resolution of issues- Collaborate with Business & Technical analysts for implementing enhancements and new integrations- Assist users and application teams in resolving system/business process questions and issues related to specific applications such as web services, Unix, Core Java, LDAP, etc.- Track issues & tasks in ReqIT/Jira, following documented processes and meeting service level agreements- Develop custom solutions in Ping Federate and Ping Access**Qualifications Required:**- Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.C.A- Certifications: NA- Experience Range: 3 Years- Foundational skills: - 2-4 years of experience with Ping Access (SSO) & Ping Federate - 2-3 years of experience in Java or Python programming/scripting - Knowledge of LDAP, SAML, OAuth2.0/OIDC protocols and frameworks - Knowledge of Multifactor Authentication/FIDO - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent oral/written communication skills- Desired skills: - Basic networking concepts and knowledge of firewall and load balancer - Basic knowledge of RHEL and Windows Server OS - Basic knowledge of Apache and IIS server configurationIn this role, you will be working from 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM (IST) in Chennai.
