Job Description

You will be responsible for working with engineering teams throughout the company to design and architect secure, cost-effective, and high-performing cloud solutions. You will partner with teams across the company to innovate and deliver software-defined cloud services and platforms. You will work with the best and brightest minds in the company as well as with vendors to architect a private cloud offering that is scalable, reliable, easy to use, and competitive in the marketplace. You will act as a technical expert in your area within the organization. You may work independently or as part of a team on more complex projects. You will provide mentoring and guidance to more junior team members. You may be responsible for leading a team, but you will not directly manage people.Responsibilities:- Leadership, development, and mentorship of a team of Solution Architects.- In collaboration with Professional Services leadership, define and shape the direction and evolution of the Professional Services Team.- Global collaboration with other regional Heads of Solution Architecture to establish and maintain global standards for Architecture teams.- Drive consistency and scalability of PS solutions.- Ensure clarity of Architectural solution designs in IPTV, OTT Platform, VOD, DRM, CAS, CMS, CDN.- Identification of initiatives that drive quality and consistency within the Architecture team.- Supporting and maintaining the culture that underpins the values and success of the organization.- Supporting the sales and pre-sales team with RFIs and RFPs.- Proactively engaging with the product organization to ensure customer requests are considered and tracked.- Collaboration with regional management team in support of driving high-performing Agile teams.Required Skills:- 17 years experience in managing highly talented, high-performing teams with an ethos of continuous improvement at their core.- Client-facing consulting and customer experience.- Track record of developing talent.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Professional experience architecting/operating SaaS solutions built on cloud platforms.- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.- Strong customer-first mentality.- Advocate for the customer in internal engagements.- Ability to work independently within a strong team environment.- Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological and business concepts.- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.- Design and development of complex applications, especially SOA patterns and web services, SDK, and API design.- Software engineering experience, preferably with Python, Java, and/or C#.NET.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization technology.- Track record of delivering solutions utilizing public cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).- Experience delivering media solutions for the public internet highly regarded.
