Job Description

As an Area Credit Manager EQF in the Credit department of our company, your role involves ensuring rigorous credit underwriting, monitoring delinquencies, and enhancing market intelligence. You will be responsible for preparing credit notes, conducting client visits, and analyzing transaction risks. Additionally, you will identify automation opportunities, minimize audit queries, and stay updated on market practices to facilitate informed decision-making.**Key Responsibilities:**- Prepare and amend credit notes and financial models.- Conduct detailed credit notes preparation.- Interact with collections and sales teams for delinquency tracking.- Attend customer meetings for industry and market understanding.- Regularly update the credit note with correct information.- Undertake interaction with collections and sales to track delinquencies.- Study delinquent cases to derive learning and share with the team.- Meet customers at regular intervals to understand various industries and markets.- Pre-approve and rate all clients with exposure over Rs 500L.- Conduct regular training sessions for Sales/Channel Partners/Field sales staff.- Control and monitor post-disbursement documents like invoices, insurance & RC.- Manage the portfolio to meet the requisite quality of documentation and delinquency levels.- Work on projects/process improvements as needed.- Evaluate transaction risk, business & financial risk, and industry risk.- Identify relevant risks and submit appropriate mitigation strategies.- Perform detailed financial analysis focusing on P&L and Balance sheet movements.- Develop market intelligence by engaging with people in other banks and FIs.- Identify automation opportunities in existing processes and new product development.- Ensure quality credit underwriting and early warning signals for stress accounts.- Resolve audit queries promptly and participate actively in customer visits.- Provide regular MIS on market intelligence.**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum Degree: MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or Equivalent- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 - 9 years in Banks/FIsThe company values competencies such as Speed, Meritocracy, Leadership Effectiveness, Customer Focus, Tech Quotient, Sustainability, Adaptability, Influence, Collaboration, Integrity, Resilience, Agility, Decisiveness, Risk Management, Financial Acumen.This job description has been written with the approval of the concerned authorities.
