Job Description

    As a Documentation Checker at Standard Chartered in Chennai, IND, your role involves performing various checker activities for the Documentation team. This includes tasks such as document preparation, BCA review, issuance of security compliance certificates, and maintenance of limits loaded in various TP systems. Your primary responsibility is to deliver excellent service to clients in Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) and Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) sectors while ensuring error-free work with no operating losses. You will work closely with Relationship Managers, Client Management, Operations, and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities for service improvement and process streamlining.Key Responsibilities:- Act as a service partner, collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve service quality and minimize error rates- Drive continuous improvement of operational efficiency and effectiveness- Provide credit documentation support for CIB and WRB clients- Resolve technical operating problems and rectify errors- Identify and escalate risk, conduct, and compliance matters- Maintain good working relationships with various business units and support functions- Provide feedback on error patterns and suggest process improvements- Undertake ad-hoc duties delegated by Line ManagerQualifications Required:- Education: Preferably Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate- Training: - Grade 8B: 3-5 years of relevant work experience - Grade 8A: 5 years of relevant work experience - Grade 7: More than 7 years of relevant work experience- Advanced product & process knowledge, core risk awareness, banking operations experience, service-oriented attitude, core communication skills- Languages: English proficiencyAdditional Details about Standard Chartered:Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
