Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Change Management Specialist with a background in Core Finance function at Standard Chartered in Chennai, IND, you will be responsible for ensuring clarity of objectives, managing tasks efficiently, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, contributing to team effectiveness, and developing and applying testing processes. You will collaborate with various project/program teams, stakeholders, finance stakeholders across geographies, process and technology teams, and drive the establishment of a target operating model and internal capability to support ongoing change initiatives. Your role will involve engaging with senior leaders and stakeholders across Finance, managing deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, and prioritizing critical path delivery items.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure clarity of objectives agreed with the LM and break them down into tasks with regular updates- Manage assigned tasks professionally and efficiently- Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and requirements- Contribute to team effectiveness by utilizing interpersonal skills- Gain cross-functional knowledge and system training- Develop and apply testing processes, create detailed test plans and test cases- Coordinate test data/environment with upstream/downstream teams- Develop detailed project transition plans including end-user training and resource considerations- Manage deliverables throughout the project lifecycle- Demonstrate strong project management skills- Design target state solution and processes- Drive the establishment of a target operating model- Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders across Finance- Manage risk and issue resolution effectivelyQualifications Required:- Qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant with minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience in Tax and Transfer Pricing- University degree Masters / MBA preferable in Finance or Accounting with minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in International Tax and Transfer Pricing- Work experience in banking/multinational companies / Big 4s preferred- Good understanding of general tax principles, accounting treatment for taxes, Corporate Tax structure, TP documentation- High level of computer literacy and understanding of business computing environments- Strong analytical skills and ability to face challenges- Experience in engaging with senior business stakeholders- Strong background in problem-solving and analytical skills- Experience in Cost allocation, financial planning, financial / management reporting, SAP PaPM- Expert excel skills and good analytical skills- Strong communication skills- Membership in ICAI, ICMA, MBA- Certification in SAP, BPC, and SACAbout the Company:Standard Chartered is an international bank with a history of over 170 years, dedicated to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
