Backend Developer - Java Technologies

Job Description

As a Backend Developer with 3-4 years of experience, your role will involve working on scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services, building microservices-based architectures, and developing RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and external systems. Your expertise in object-oriented principles, design patterns, and clean, maintainable code will be crucial in this role.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.- Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend and external systems.- Apply object-oriented principles and design patterns to produce clean, maintainable code.- Participate in system design discussions, including scalability, performance, and reliability.- Optimize applications for high availability and low latency.- Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, frontend, and DevOps.- Perform code reviews and follow best practices for secure and scalable development.- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.Qualifications Required:- 3-4 years of hands-on experience in backend development.- Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above).- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.- Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture.- Solid understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems.- Strong knowledge of design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Builder, etc.).- Good understanding of system design concepts such as scalability, caching, load balancing, and fault tolerance.- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.Good to Have:- Experience with Spring Cloud (Eureka, Config Server, Gateway).- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ).- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.- Experience with NoSQL databases.This job opportunity is for candidates with 3-4 years of backend development experience who are proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
