Job Description

As a Backup Admin (Commvault), your role will involve the following responsibilities:- Designing and implementing PowerMax storage solutions for mainframe environments, while considering geographically dispersed disaster recovery requirements and Dell GDDR capabilities.- Ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards while working with PowerMax storage arrays.- Troubleshooting and resolving storage-related issues in geographically dispersed environments.- Bringing in strong experience as a storage engineer or administrator, with a specific focus on PowerMax storage systems.- Managing, maintaining, and implementing various Hitachi storage arrays such as HNAS, VSP, and HCP.- Installing, configuring, and operating Hitachi Storage arrays and performing root cause analysis on storage issues.- Designing, implementing, and managing Infinidat storage systems, along with configuring and optimizing Infinidat storage arrays for performance, capacity, and data protection.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other infrastructure.- Designing, implementing, and managing NetApp storage systems including FAS, AFF, and ONTAP, and configuring and optimizing NetApp storage arrays for performance, capacity, and data protection.Qualifications required for this role include:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 6 to 9 years of experience in storage engineering or administration.- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with PowerMax, Hitachi, Infinidat, and NetApp storage systems.- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve storage-related issues efficiently.- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
