Business Operations Analyst

Role Overview:HP, the worlds leading personal systems and printing company, is seeking a Supply Chain Business Operations Analyst 4 for their Chennai location. As part of the team, you will be responsible for pricing analysis, inventory analysis, and other operational activities related to Services Supply Chain. You will provide innovative solutions to operational issues and drive key Supply Chain Improvement projects.Key Responsibilities:- Own a broad range of Logistics, Procurement, and Order management processes in SAP S4 and non-SAP environment- Manage Material Master related attributes in S4 environment- Coordinate with outsourced partners and internal teams for smooth execution of operations- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in SAP with a focus on material master and Idocs- Reengineer business processes and automate them using technologies like SAP S4 scripting, Power Automate, PowerQuery, PowerBI, etc.- Produce reports using IT systems/tools (PowerBI), analyze data, develop trends, and articulate findings to management- Report performance metrics regularly, identify improvement opportunities, and research priority projects for digital advancement- Communicate requirements to regional and global teams and provide training or direction to junior staff membersQualifications Required:- First level university degree (Engineering preferred)- Minimum 17-20 years of experience in the supply chain function- Experience in multiple supply chain functions focusing on Master data, Logistics, Procurement, Order Management, Sales- Minimum 6-8 years of experience in SAP S4 iDOC messages related to Forward Logistics, Reverse Logistics, procurement, and order management- Solid understanding of SAP, knowledge of business flows in logistics, procurement, and order management- Thorough knowledge of EDIs, B2B platforms, and Microsoft Office skills- Strong communication, presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills- Ability to challenge business operating models and recommend innovative solutions- Strong Project Management skills and Services Supply Chain knowledge will be a plusDisclaimer:This job description provides an overview of the roles responsibilities and qualifications.
