Data Visualization & Business Intelligence Engineer - Qlik Sense/QlikView

Job Description

As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing interactive dashboards and reports using QlikView and Qlik Sense. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements. Your role will involve developing data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and efficiency. Additionally, you will optimize dashboard performance and enhance data visualization standards. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions with existing systems is also a key part of your responsibilities. Ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity across all reporting layers is crucial. You will create documentation for BI solutions and provide user training/support when needed. Staying updated with the latest Qlik features, BI trends, and visualization best practices is also expected.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement interactive dashboards and reports using QlikView and Qlik Sense.- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements.- Develop data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.- Optimize dashboard performance and enhance data visualization standards.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate BI solutions with existing systems.- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all reporting layers.- Create documentation for BI solutions and provide user training/support when needed.- Stay updated with the latest Qlik features, BI trends, and visualization best practices.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Qlik Sense / QlikView dashboard development.- Strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, and data visualization techniques.- Proficient in scripting, set analysis, section access, and performance tuning in Qlik.- Experience with ETL tools and data warehouse concepts.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and client interaction abilities.Additional Details:- Experience in other BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus.- Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics is advantageous.- Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) would be beneficial.
