Job Description

Role Overview:As a Data Visualization Specialist at IDP Education Limited, you will be collaborating with the Data Engineering and Governance team to design and implement end-to-end Visual Analytics solutions. Your role will involve participating in the visualization strategy, developing reports and dashboards, and ensuring high levels of performance, security, and scalability of the solutions. You will also contribute to maintaining standards and best practices within the organization.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with IDPs Data Engineering and Governance team to improve products, infrastructure, and processes through visualization strategy- Design and implement end-to-end Visual Analytics solutions to meet business needs efficiently- Work closely with Product Managers, Data Analysts, Data Engineers, and System Administrators to ensure high performance and user-friendliness of visual analytics solutions- Develop reports and dashboards displaying strategic, operational, and tactical level views of various metrics- Contribute to business analytics strategies, roadmaps, and BI solutions- Stay updated on company standards, industry practices, and emerging standards- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to address those needs- Manage multiple initiatives, incidents, and service requests while adapting to changing business conditions- Document standard operating procedures, contribute to automation efforts, and maintain technical documentation- Promote best practices and correct usage of standards within the organization- Support global, Enterprise-class systems regarding ITIL/ITSM processes/practicesQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a similar field- 4 years of experience in a Data Visualization role with successful delivery of interactive visualizations- Proficiency in Power BI, AWS QuickSight, or Tableau Architecture and Development- Experience in SQL, with desirable skills in Python and JavaScript- Familiarity with Agile development processes and DevOps methodology/principals- Expertise in analytics and data warehouse concepts- Basic knowledge of Active Directory concepts, security permissions, and network troubleshooting- Ability to develop visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI- Proficiency in connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data- Strong analytical thinking skills for translating data into informative reports and appealing visuals- Knowledge of KPIs, hierarchies, and data relationships- Certified in MS Power BI, Tableau, or AWS QuickSight is desirable(Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.)
