Role Overview:At PwC, as a Guidewire consulting generalist, your focus will be on providing consulting services for Guidewire software solutions. You will utilize your in-depth knowledge of Guidewire applications to assist clients in optimizing operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support specific to Guidewire software. Your role will involve building meaningful client connections, managing and inspiring others, deepening technical expertise, and anticipating the needs of your teams and clients. Embracing ambiguity and using critical thinking to solve complex problems will be key aspects of your responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure applications- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions- Develop and consume RESTful APIs and Web Services for application integration- Implement and maintain database solutions using SQL Server- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure leveraging cloud-based services- Participate in all phases of the Agile development lifecycle- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintain code quality through code reviews and unit testing- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptlyQualifications Required:- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in application development- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in application development- Strong proficiency in C# and .NET- Experience with .NET Core, .NET Framework, MVC, and Web API- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services- Solid understanding of REST API development and integration- Expertise in SQL Server including T-SQL stored procedures and optimization- Experience with Web Services, WCF, and service-oriented architectures- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development tools- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills- Experience in the Insurance domainAdditional Details:At PwC, every individual is expected to be a purpose-led and values-driven leader at every level.
