By joining this team, you will contribute to setting the standard in a competitive marketplace and delivering the best customer experience through technology-driven approaches.**Responsibilities:**- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automating the software delivery process.- Collaborate with developers to streamline release processes and enhance development workflows.- Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system availability, performance, and security.- Troubleshoot deployment, performance, and scalability issues.- Engage with cross-functional teams to align on DevOps best practices.- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in DevOps, containerization, and cloud computing.- Create and update documentation for team processes and tools.**Skillsets:**- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer.- Technical expertise in managing scalable, highly-available systems like Openstack, Redhat Virtualization, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.- Proficiency with configuration management and automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible.- Experience with programming or scripting languages like Python.- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Concourse, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.- Knowledge of Logging and Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Elk, Grafana, Nagios, and OP5.- Experience in upgrading and patching Operating Systems like Redhat, CentOS, or Ubuntu.- Familiarity with OS commands and scripting languages like LUA or Python.- Background in applications support and debugging.**Core Responsibilities:**- Lead technical bridges and provide troubleshooting direction to resolve complex technical issues.- Advocate for Engineering Operations procedures, policies, and processes.- Create data and metric systems to track operational workflows and provide actionable insights.- Collaborate with vendors on defects and enhancements, obtaining relevant technical certifications.- Perform maintenance tests for engineering areas and escalate issues as needed.- Contribute to new product designs and architectural changes.- Analyze problems within complex provisioning systems and lead integration projects.By joining Comcast, you are expected to adhere to the Operating Principles, prioritize customer experience, stay updated on technology, collaborate effectively, support an inclusive culture, and drive results and growth.
