Job Description

Job DescriptionAs a Quality Assurance Engineer at Comcast, you will be responsible for validating product quality by analyzing and testing the codebase. Your key responsibilities will include:- Writing automated test code that allows for repeatable, reliable testing solutions to test the wide functionality of products and software, maintaining automation codebase in a version control system (GIT, SVN).- Creating automated testing documentation, including Test Plans and Test Summary Reports.- Executing automated test scripts and presenting results to the team.- Analyzing and repairing broken test cases to working order.- Performing code reviews of automation scripts and front-end codebases, diagnosing and repairing simple bugs within production code.- Serving as a guide and mentor for junior-level engineers, providing technical leadership and consultation with regards to practices, procedures, and techniques.Additionally, you will be expected to:- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.- Ensure regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, being able to work nights and weekends as necessary.- Take on other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.- 5-7 years of relevant work experience.At Comcast, we strive to bring together the best in media and technology to drive innovation and create the worlds best entertainment and online experiences.
