Job Description

As an Executive in TBR Manufacturing at Apollo Tyres Ltd located in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in achieving key production objectives through innovative manufacturing practices and processes.**Role Overview:**You will be responsible for leading the shift operation of the production process, coordinating materials and manpower to meet targets, and implementing innovative production methods to achieve business unit objectives. Additionally, you will ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements, deploy modern manufacturing practices/tools for efficiency, and maintain machine health through high standards of plant maintenance.**Key Responsibilities:**- Lead shift operation of the production process- Coordinate materials and manpower to achieve targets- Implement innovative production methods- Ensure adherence to quality and safety requirements- Deploy modern manufacturing practices/tools for efficiency- Maintain machine health through high standards of plant maintenance- Implement quality management tools for problem-solving- Provide strong team leadership and professional interaction with peers and SMT members- Train new TMTs in the respective BU- Ensure completeness of relevant documents such as PIBS/SAP/MII- Maintain discipline on the shop floor and plant**Qualifications Required:**- TPM/TQM knowledge- Lean manufacturing methods- 5S systems- Knowledge in Tyre Manufacturing- Technical knowledge of machine operations in the BU- Production planning knowledge- Knowledge of PIBS/MII/SAP- Awareness of safety requirements across processes- Understanding of customer requirements (internal/external)**Additional Company Details (if provided):**Apollo Tyres Ltd is an international tyre manufacturer and the leading tyre brand in India with multiple manufacturing units in India, The Netherlands, and Hungary.
