Job Description

    As a Fleet Data Analyst at Lloyds Register, you will have the opportunity to join a well-established team responsible for generating and developing LRs Data. You will be utilizing data sets from both internal and external sources to provide intelligence that supports the assessment of compliance and risk for ships in LR Class. This role presents a significant opportunity to contribute to shaping LRs digital future by leveraging the latest analysis and AI tools.**Key Responsibilities:**- Ensure accurate recording and maintenance of Port State Control (PSC) inspection and detention data to support LR and client performance reporting.- Analyze PSC data to provide insights into LRs performance against IACS members, incorporating data from internal and external sources.- Analyze sanctions data to identify owners, managers, and vessels requiring action, including developing methods to detect suspicious vessel activity and conducting investigations.- Assess technical risk across approximately 9,000 assets within the LR In-Service fleet by analyzing LR and external datasets.- Provide ship and fleet PSC and FSC performance analysis to clients and internal stakeholders through presentations and data visualizations.- Offer subject matter expertise on the manipulation and analysis of large, complex, and diverse datasets.- Maintain and monitor analytical tools and BI reports for data integrity, accuracy, and operational reliability.- Enhance and optimize BI reports and analytical tools to align with evolving business requirements.**Qualifications Required:**- A degree or equivalent in the relevant field of engineering, data science, data analytics, or physical science from a tertiary organization recognized by Lloyds Register (minimum of two years program).- Proficiency in MS tools including Excel, Power BI, databases, and SQL.- Membership of an appropriate professional institution.- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.- Excellent knowledge of data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, to create impactful reports and visualizations.If you have further questions about this role, please contact us at View email address on jobs.lr.org and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
