As a freelance Tamil/English Copywriter at RWS Small World Studio, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to enabling brands to adapt, manage, and deliver global customer content. Your role will involve solid copyediting experience in film/TV/entertainment copy, working on exciting global brands and projects across Creative Content Editing, Transcreation, Marketing Translation, SEO, Cultural Consultation, Market Insights, Voice Over Direction, and more.**Key Responsibilities:**- Collaborate with Integrated Producers, Creative Director, in-house Linguistic Teams, and client teams to edit Tamil into English adaptations of Tamil films, TV series, and entertainment programs- Adapt brand, advertising, and marketing content to suit local market needs considering language, culture, emotion, tonality, and imagery- Bring creative flair and new dimensions to projects at the adaptation and editing stages- Prioritize and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment- Meet deadlines consistently and work towards constant improvement- Work effectively with an international/multi-location team**Qualifications Required:**- Minimum of 3 years of proven creative/marketing transcreation and creative copywriting/editing experience in the film/TV/entertainment sector- Experience with global brands, understanding nuances of tonality, style, and target audience- Design/art direction experience beneficial- Excellent command of Tamil and English, with knowledge and understanding of Tamil and US English cultures- Strong creative flair, sound knowledge of TV/Film/Entertainment culture- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and adapt to feedback- Client-facing experience and collaborative attitude- Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAt RWS, we value diversity and promote equal opportunity.
