Job Description

As an experienced Dashboard Developer at Caterpillar Inc., your role involves independently leading end-to-end analytics projects and acting as a product owner to coach analysts within the team. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and leverage data analytics to achieve those goals. Your responsibilities will include designing data modeling processes, creating algorithms, and developing predictive models to analyze data. Additionally, you will develop prediction tools to enhance efficiency for Caterpillar customers and enable machine learning and prediction solutions.Key Responsibilities:- Independently lead end-to-end analytics projects- Act as a product owner and coach analysts within the team- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand goals and leverage data analytics- Design data modeling processes, create algorithms, and develop predictive models- Develop prediction tools for customer efficiency and forecasting- Work with cross-functional teams to innovate solutions- Serve as a technical lead in analytics and machine learningQualifications Required:- Minimum 4 years of experience in developing dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, and other visualization tools- B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent professional qualification in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning & Data Visualization- Proficient in programming languages like Python and database querying (SQL, Snowflakes)- Expertise in visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI- Hands-on experience with Power Apps and other SAS-based tools- Strong knowledge of servers, cloud databases (SQL, Snowflakes, AWS, Azure DB), and Agile processes/tools (Jira, Dev Ops)- Good understanding of various processes such as Manufacturing, Supply chain, Purchasing- Skilled in statistical tables to support development work- Ability to present data in a meaningful form and communicate effectively with stakeholdersAt Caterpillar, we are dedicated to creating a better world through innovation and technology.
