Job Description

As a member of the team at our global engineering client, you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial function by handling technical topics and taking ownership of the technical scope in tenders. Your role will also involve assisting the Lead Engineer with calculations and documentation.Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance of cable systems with internal requirements, international standards, and client specifications- Maintain alignment between technical proposals and tender strategies- Take charge of the assigned technical scope- Analyze tender requirements and perform cable system design work- Assess qualification needs and propose qualification plans- Interface with various departments within the organization- Present technical proposals to clients and compile relevant documentationQualifications Required:- Hold an MTech/M.E/BE/BTech degree in electrical or high voltage engineering- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HV/EHV background or 2-3 years of experience in cable system design- 2-3 years of experience in thermal/electrical calculations and compiling tender documentation- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Comsol, Matlab, and preferably AutoCad As a member of the team at our global engineering client, you will be responsible for supporting the Commercial function by handling technical topics and taking ownership of the technical scope in tenders.
