As an Engineering & Science professional at Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited, you will be responsible for managing a team of Project Technical Engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality and timely engineering deliverables for projects and tenders. Your role will involve:- Managing a team of Project Technical Engineers to deliver quality engineering deliverables on time- Ensuring team compliance with standard processes, procedures, practices, and safety requirements- Leading the team in implementing process tools and Quality Management System (QMS) actions- Implementing the LOM Engineering process in alignment with the global framework- Ensuring adherence to engineering processes within the team and fostering efficient collaboration with operating units- Planning and forecasting projects and tenders in coordination with OU Engineering Managers- Organizing, planning, and staffing the team, including budgeting and resource planning for new projects and tenders- Supporting tendering activities and taking responsibility for delivering tender engineering- Handling performance and development of team members, including training and development- Managing daily operational issues, conflict resolution, and driving project meetings with team membersQualifications required for this role include:- Masters in Power Systems with 8 years of experience in a similar role or Bachelors in Electrical & Electronics with 10 years of experience in a similar role- Eagerness for learning, innovation, and utilizing new tools for engineering tasks and team organization- Deep knowledge in substation Project Engineering activities- Experience in People Management and leading a small team- Proficiency in both spoken and written English languageIf you are a qualified individual with a disability and require accommodation to access the Hitachi Energy career site or support during the job application process, you can request reasonable accommodations through our website by completing a general inquiry form.
