Lead Solution Architect - Digital Transformation

Job Description

As an experienced Lead Solution Architect at our company, you will be an integral part of our Digital Transformation journey. Your role will involve designing and guiding modern, scalable, and customer-centric digital solutions across the organization. You will work with cutting-edge technologies such as cloud, open source, AI/ML, and modern engineering practices to deliver impactful business solutions across various domains. This hands-on leadership position requires strong architectural expertise, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work independently in a cross-functional environment.Key Responsibilities:- Define end-to-end solution architecture aligned with business needs- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across cloud and on-prem environments- Propose multiple solution options and clearly explain trade-offs- Review solution designs and provide architectural governance- Drive application modernization and digital transformation initiativesAgile & Delivery Support:- Define solutions in an Agile environment with evolving architectures- Work closely with engineering and product teams to guide implementation- Contribute hands-on when required to support delivery teams- Plan and prioritize work for self and team based on project needsTechnical Leadership:- Act as a technology advisor to developers, architects, and product leaders- Guide teams on architectural styles, design patterns, and best practices- Identify opportunities to optimize compute, memory, and network usage- Lead architecture discussions, reviews, and technical workshopsInnovation, Learning & Sharing:- Drive adoption of modern technologies through PoCs and case studies- Promote reuse of common components, frameworks, and utilities- Educate teams on technology standards, tools, and platforms- Mentor teams and lead knowledge-sharing initiativesRequired Experience:- 9 to 15 years of experience in Solution Architecture- Strong experience in cloud-based architectures and application modernization- Experience designing internet, intranet, and extranet applications- Exposure to AI/ML, Chatbots, or intelligent systems is a plus- Strong understanding of integration patterns and distributed systemsLocation:- ChennaiTechnical Skills:- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP any one preferred)- Microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures- DevOps, CI/CD, containerization concepts- Modern backend and frontend architectures- Strong documentation and design skillsSoft Skills:- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences- Pragmatic, value-driven approach to technology- Strong collaboration and leadership mindsetPreferred:- Experience in automobile, manufacturing, or large enterprise environments- Experience working in global, distributed teams As an experienced Lead Solution Architect at our company, you will be an integral part of our Digital Transformation journey.
