Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description

You will be joining the corporate data science team at HID Global as a Machine Learning Engineer reporting to the CTOs Office. Your main responsibilities will involve collaborating with data scientists, ML Ops engineers, and full-stack developers to bring AI-driven ideas into production. The focus of your role will be on building high-performance, scalable ML systems, including classical models, LLMs, and multi-agent architectures, and translating them into real-world applications.Your key responsibilities will include:- Designing and implementing machine learning pipelines and models, including LLM-based solutions- Translating prototypes and research into production-grade code and deployable components- Developing and fine-tuning foundation models and LLMs for specific use cases- Training and optimizing numeric machine-learning models- Applying prompt engineering and building agent-based architectures for complex task automation- Integrating models into backend systems and supporting real-time/batch inference services- Ensuring safe and robust use of generative AI through guardrails and observability tools- Staying updated with the latest advances in AI and emerging LLM ecosystems to bring innovative capabilities to the teamYour qualifications should include:- Hands-on experience with LLM solution development and integration- Proficiency in Python and ML libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, or Hugging Face Transformers- Deep understanding of agent architecture, prompt engineering, and LLM guardrails- Experience with CI/CD practices, version control, testing, and model governance- Comfort working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)- Bonus: Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) or orchestration tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow)You should have at least 6 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models in production and hold a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.In addition, HID Global offers competitive salary and rewards package, benefits, annual leave, a welcoming culture, extensive career development opportunities, and the chance to be part of a global organization focused on hardware, software, and services that enhance peoples confidence in navigating physical and digital worlds.
