Job Description

    Role Overview:As a Manager Finance Systems Operations at HSBC, your role will involve understanding the Regulatory Reporting framework, ensuring robust production environments, and providing support for system operations. You will be responsible for tasks during Daily, Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-end close, interpreting data calculations, and maintaining process manuals and Standard Operating Processes. Collaboration with the IT & Change team, coordinating controls, and suggesting best practices for process standardization will also be key responsibilities. Additionally, you will work on automation tools, demonstrate HSBC Values, and act as a subject matter expert for processes and project deliverables. Your understanding of DevOps Model and Agile methodology will be essential in this role.Key Responsibilities:- Understand Regulatory Reporting framework, regulatory requirements, and systems- Build user confidence in production environments and support function- Perform system support tasks during close periods- Interpret data calculations and validations- Keep stakeholders informed of issue resolution progress- Update and maintain process manuals and SOPs- Partner with IT & Change team for system updates- Standardize processes and suggest best practices- Implement automation tools to reduce manual efforts- Collaborate with various teams for system changes and releases- Create UAT test cases and provide deployment support- Act as a SME for project processes and deliverables- Work with DevOps Model and Agile methodology- Influence and escalate customer issues for timely resolution- Adhere to Incident Management framework- Collaborate with different teams for process improvementsQualifications Required:- MCA/MBA/BCA/ B.Com/B Tech with 7 years of post-qualification experience- Experience in internal/external Systems audits in financial services sector- Understanding of SOX controls and user security framework- Prior experience with Regulatory systems like DLR & XBRL- Strong knowledge of providing Production Support for Critical Finance applications- Expertise in Incident management framework- Experience in leading production support of critical applications- Exposure in change and automation projects- Strong communication, navigation, and stakeholder management skills- Knowledge of multiple Finance functions in a banking environment- Ability to work in large teams across multiple locations- Strong presentation and problem-solving skills- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop rapport in challenging situations- Knowledge of visualization tools like Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, SAS VA- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications- Good knowledge of Incident management tools and recovery processNote: HSBC is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a workplace that values diversity and continuous professional development.
