Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be joining the team at Citi as an Officer - Operations Support Analyst 2 based in Chennai, India. Your role will involve tracking, managing, and working on various workstreams within the required Service Levels. You will also be responsible for completing Balance Sheet & P&L reviews, acting as an escalation contact between analysts and the business, overseeing functions to ensure timely completion of activities, assisting with process reviews, processing journal entries, and more.Key Responsibilities:- Track, manage, and work on workstreams within the required Service Levels- Complete a comprehensive Balance Sheet & P&L review, verifying and identifying balances, and troubleshooting inconsistencies- Act as an escalation contact between analysts and the business- Assist with process reviews related to policy changes- Process journal entries following the documented process- Sanction Screening and disposition of alerts- Manage different work queues and assist with the production of department MIS and reporting- Deliver a high level of customer service to internal and external customers- Support the business with KPMG audit by providing supporting documentation as requested- Coordinate ledger transactions with Ops teams- Ensure day-to-day operations are performed, and SLAs are met for all businesses- Timely escalation on incomplete/delayed processingQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree with a minimum of 5-7 years of banking experience preferred- Hands-on experience with funds transfer systems like Flexcube, CitiDirect- Flexible to work in UK/US time zones and holidays- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Proficiency in Microsoft skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook- Knowledge of risk & controls to resolve first-level escalated inquiries- Computer literate with the ability to quickly grasp in-house systems- Demonstrates collaborative competencyAdditional Company Details:Not available in the provided Job Description.
