Production Support (SQL SSIS/SSRS) - IT

Job Description

Role Overview:You will be joining an extraordinary team at Flex as a Systems Analyst - IT based in Chennai. Your role will involve taking ownership of user problems, monitoring alerts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring application availability and performance in production. You will need to follow established processes, propose process improvements, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure a bug-free system for end users.Key Responsibilities:- Take ownership of user problems and proactively address user issues.- Monitor alerts and report any issues that may impact the business.- Troubleshoot problems, provide code fixes, and conduct root-cause analysis.- Develop and utilize application monitoring solutions to enhance application availability and performance.- Maintain SLA, account payable records, and logs of all issues and resolutions.- Ensure on-time delivery of assigned tasks and adhere to support delivery processes/guidelines.- Identify and learn more about the software supported by the organization.- Propose innovative approaches for process improvements and automation possibilities.- Communicate effectively with users, development teams, and support teams during downtimes.- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a bug-free system is available for end users.- Work on automation, ticket reduction, and meet KPIs within the team.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering.- 1 - 3 years of experience in production support area (L1, L2, and L3 Support).- Strong knowledge in SQL, SSIS / SSRS, and intermediate knowledge in Dot Net.- Experience in Data Management/ETL projects.- Ability to lead efficiency improvement ideas and provide leadership to the team.- Strong sense of urgency for high severity incidents.- Motivated with an interest in display technology and passion for problem-solving.- Basic ability to edit dot net scripts is a plus.- Willingness to work in rotational shifts including weekends.- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.Additional Details:Flex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment opportunities.
