Job Description

    As a QA Engineer at our client, you will play a crucial role in supporting the architecture of client solutions for brand websites. Your responsibilities will include:- Working in an Agile team, utilizing tools like Microsoft Visual Studio, GitHub, and Atlassian stack (Jira & Confluence) to test applications.- Creating detailed test plans and test cases for new frontend web applications and REST APIs, ensuring end-to-end testing to meet business requirements.- Developing automated scripts using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress for high test coverage.- Conducting manual testing when necessary and documenting results according to industry standards.- Collaborating with the development team on requirement gathering and optimal solutions.- Documenting technical work and test cases following industry standards.Requirements for this role include:- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman, etc.- Strong understanding of QA and development methodologies, with basic knowledge of HTML/CSS.- Proficiency in JavaScript and experience with defect tracking systems like Gitlab, Jira, VSTS.- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and solve problems independently.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.- Familiarity with APIs, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins), web automation testing, and server-side automation testing.
