Job Description

    As an aspiring candidate, you have the opportunity to join Citi, one of the worlds most global banks, where you can expand your skills and make a difference. The Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS) business unit at Citi is looking for individuals to join their Sanctions Operations function, supporting sanctions processes globally. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures while driving efficient and agile technology and processes. Here is a breakdown of your responsibilities:- Operate in a fast-paced environment, managing work queues effectively.- Review and provide feedback on potential matches generated by internal systems for compliance regulations.- Collaborate closely with Global/Regional Sanctions Ops and Regional Cash/Trade Processing Ops.- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to ensure efficient transaction processing and recommend process improvements.- Resolve potential matches promptly while adhering to Citis internal policies and guidelines.- Analyze data, provide solutions to problems, and anticipate/respond to requests from clients and vendors.- Participate in internal and external audit reviews to ensure compliance with regulations.- Identify compliance issues and take corrective action to ensure immediate compliance.- Be prepared for 24X7 & weekend shifts flexibility.Qualifications and Experience:- Bachelors degree in any subject is mandatory.- Experience in Transaction Banking products and handling regulatory/compliance matters.- 5 years of relevant regional and/or global experience in a financial institution.Key Skills Required:- Effective communication and analytical skills.- Ability to work well in a challenging environment.- Knowledge in cash management, transaction services, and sanction compliance.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PC software.- Readiness to work in flexible timing.- Training abilities and strong organizational skills.- Quick decision-making and problem-solving skills.- Collaboration with teams and reporting to supervisors.Please note that this job description provides an overview of the roles responsibilities.
